Swipe right to open the Garage and press the + in the top right of the drawer. Select the bike where you want to install your Rideet One, then select "Rideet One" and follow the instructions.
You can also manually insert your Serial Numbers.
Rideet One serial can be found next to the QR code and is engraved in the bottom side of the product as well.
Rideet Key serial can be found next to the QR code and on a sticker placed on the Key plastic bag.
Once the activation process is completed, the App will guide you in the Rideet One installation.
A more detailed explanation for mechanical installation is also available in the next section.
After mechanical installation you will need to get back to the app to calibrate your Rideet One and finalize the setup process.
Rideet One installation is simple, but we always suggest to commission the job to a professional workshop with trained personnel, especially if you are not experienced with electrical and mechanical operations on your motorcycle. In case you want to perform the installation by yourself, please read all installation tips and safety notes before starting the process.
In your Rideet One packaging you will find:
The Rideet One has to be installed inside your motorcycle by connecting it to a 12V power source through the integrated hook connectors (or though the included T-tap) and fixing it to any fixed part (such as the motorcycle frame).
Install Rideet One only after you completed the Activation.
To properly install Rideet One you must activate it first through the Rideet App. Performing the Installation of a Rideet One not yet activated could lead to critical errors and impossibility of use.
Rideet One installation requires 2G GSM network coverage.
Please make sure to be in an area with 2G GSM network coverage before starting to install Rideet One on your bike.
The first step is to turn on the Rideet Key.
To turn it on, press the button on the Key for 5 seconds.
You will hear a loud beep and the blue LED will turn on for about 3s.
Keep the Rideet Key in proximity of your bike.
The second step consists of supplying the Rideet One. You can supply it in two alternative ways.
The two options are: directly from the battery (Option 1) or connecting to a +12V cable through the T-tap (Option 2).
The integrated hook connectors are specifically made to connect to the motorcycle battery, while the T-tap can be used to get the power from any +12V cable in your motorcycle (such as, in most cases, the ones under the saddle).
Reach the motorcycle battery. Hook the Gound hook connector (black&red cable) to the negative pole of the battery or to a ground point (as a bolt on the frame). Then lightly unscrew the +12V bolt and insert the +12V hook connector (red cable) below the bolt. Be sure that the hook correctly hooked the battery, then screw the bolts back to its original position. They must strongly keep the hook connectors in place.
Always make sure that there is no conductive connection between the positive pole of the battery and its negative pole or another ground point such as the frame.
Keep the T-tap at hand. Cut the hook connector from the +12V cable (red cable). Peel about 1 cm of cable and crimp the wire in the male spade terminal to secure it (1). Take the selected +12V cable in your motorcycle and put it in the connector (2), then use pliers to press with enough strengh to cut the insulation of the motorcycle electric cable and fix the connector (3). Plug the male spade terminal directly into the T-tap wire terminal (4). Find any conductive point in the frame (usually a bolt) and install the Ground hook on the black&red cable by tighting it between frame and bolt.
Please note that using the T-tap exposes to the risk of water infiltration in the installation area around the T-tap, with the risk of high damage to the motorcycle electric system.
After the installation, protect the area using insulating tape and any other solution to prevent infiltration.
Once the Rideet One is properly connected to a power source, you have to fix it to any fixed part nearby, as, for example, the motorcycle frame. You can fix the Rideet One by using two (2) plastic ties. Fixing is simplified by the plastic ties designated areas on the Rideet One itself.
Install Rideet One with the bike in vertical position by using centerstand or external stand.
It is required to ensure a correct calibration and for your safety.
Before fixing the Rideet One to the motorcycle, take note of its Serial Number on the lower side.
You could need it in future operations.
When fixing the Rideet One, try to position it with the Rideet logo facing up.
While it is not strictly required, it will strongly help network connection in low signal areas.
When fixing the Rideet One to the motorcycle, position it:
When the Rideet One is fixed and stable, mechanical installation is completed.
You can now return to the app to proceed with automatic calibration and finalize the installation process.
To help you installing the Rideet One we prepared an intuitive video tutorial:
During calibration you'll just have to select the orientation you actually choose to fix Rideet One in the bike.
You have to swipe to select the orientation that most resemble the actual Rideet One orientation.
This is needed to calibrate Rideet One to correct measurement errors due to potential misalignment.
Choosing the real orientation between the options provided is important, because it directly affects performance data accuracy.
You can perform calibration anytime in the app in the Bike Info page by tapping on the bike picture in the Garage drawer.
Once the activation process is completed, you'll see a popup redirecting you to this User Guide. Alternatively, you can close it and start navigating through the app. To learn more about how to use your Rideet One, please continue reading this User Guide.
Rideet One is the first and only advanced smart assistant for your motorcycle. It's always connected to the cloud, so any information it gets (from your rides, your bike, or if someone touches your bike when you're not near it) is instantly sent to your account and you can access it from anywhere using the Rideet app.
Thanks to the wide range of embedded sensors and antennas, and with the use of the Rideet Key, Rideet One understands what you are (or you aren't) doing and elaborates the most relevant data for your use. Everytime.
Let's say for example that you are riding your bike: Rideet One will save your trip data (route, performance, and more) and at the same time will analyze (live) if anything strange is happening, so that in the infortunate case of an accident it will alert your emergency contacts with an SMS. In the same way, when the bike is parked and you're not there, it will listen for unwanted movements of your bike and promptly alert you with a notification, activating live streaming of your bike position in the app. And so on.
Most of the data is sent by Rideet One to the Cloud, and then from the Cloud to your smartphone on the Rideet app. Some of them, such as detailed telemetry for a specific trip, can be downloaded with a few-seconds procedure by connecting directly to Rideet One with WiFi Direct using the Rideet app.
With every Rideet One purchase you will receive one Rideet Key uniquely tied to your Rideet One.
You must keep the Rideet Key in your bike keychain all the time, since it is one of the tools that Rideet One uses to understand if you're near (or far from) the bike.
Rideet One will, in fact, activates some of its features - such as Trips recognition, Accidents detection or Performance analysis - only when the Key is in its proximity. In the same way, it will automatically enable the Antitheft when the Key is not around.
The button on the Key will perform different actions according to the context (such as, for example, stopping Accident Recognition system SMS if everything is ok after an accident).
Different actions will be described in the proper sections of this User Guide.
Access to all existing data, such as Maintenance data or Trip Details, is always possible on the Rideet app regardless of Key presence or Rideet One current Mode.
When the bike is parked and the Key is not in its proximity, Rideet One will enter Antitheft Mode.
In Antitheft Mode, any movement of the bike (e.g. a hit) will trigger a push notification of Unauthorized movement.
Rideet One will then check the bike position: if the motorcycle moves from its position, it will send a Theft Alert push notification. When you receive the notification, you can authorize the movement or confirm it is an unauthorized movement.
If, after the Unauthorized movement notification, Rideet One can't get the current position, it will send a Possible Theft push notification.
If you know the Theft Alert is a false alarm, you can authorize the movement.
You can choose between:
If you receive a Theft alert and mark it as a theft, Rideet One will start the live streaming of your bike position and you will be redirected to a map view where you can follow your bike live movements, and plan your move accordingly. If you exit the map view, you will stop the live streaming. Any further unauthorized movement of the bike will cause a new theft notification with the possibility to start a new live position streaming. You can check the list of Unathorized movements in the dedicated page in the Security tab.
When the Key is near the bike, Rideet One can operate in two Modes:
Each Rideet Key is uniquely tied to a specific Rideet One.
Communication between Rideet One and Rideet Key is securely crypted and many levels of authenticity checks ensure that it can't be copied or cloned.
You can manage (add/remove) your active Keys in the proper section in Settings > Rideet One > General.
In some cases, such as loss or unwanted damage, you could need a new Rideet Key. You can buy a new Rideet Key here.
To replace the Key internal CR2032 battery, simply open the Key from the advantage point on one side. You will then access the battery slot to replace the exhausted battery. Approximate battery life is 9-12 months.
The Rideet app is designed to manage multiple bikes at once, all in one place: you can switch between them with ease in the My Garage drawer.
Access the My Garage drawer by swiping right while in the Dashboard or pressing the icon at the top left.
Any Rideet One synced with your account will send their data to your cloud, so you can have all your bikes under control with a single login.
Rideet One performs its activities also when the bike where it's installed is not selected in the app.
This means that monitoring will be active, and any sort of notification will be received, even if another bike is selected.
Changing active bike in the Garage will only change data visualization related to that specific bike (such as, for example, maintenance data or performance data).
Data not related to a specific bike will be consistent across your bikes.
You need one Rideet One for each bike.
In the My Garage drawer there is one card for each one of your bikes. You can swipe right on a bike to show the Select button (to set the bike as Active, showing the data from the products installed on it in the whole app) and the Delete button.
You can access the bike info page by tapping on the bike card: from there you can see info about the bike and about all the Rideet products installed on it (with the option to delete/unlink them), plus the option to change the picture and the selection of the bike icon.
In one of the card you can also set your garage position, useful to automatically organize the trips. Check the Trips section for more info.
The Rideet app is the central hub where you can check your Rideet One data.
When you login, your Cloud account data will be synced with your smartphone.

Press Merge in the Edit menu to select the Trips that you want to merge and confirm with the Check button at the bottom of the page. Choose a title for the new Trip. The resulting Trip is a multi-session Trip that you can explore. You can separate a multi-session trip in the same way.
When a Trip includes multiple Sessions, tapping on it will lead you to the dedicated trip page.
Here you can highlight a session by swiping on the cards at the bottom, and access more detailed data of that specific session by tapping on it.
Access Trip (or Session) details by tapping on it in the Trips page (in case of a single session trip) or tapping the session card in the Multi-Session Trip page (in case of multiple sessions). A new page will open with starting point, ending point, duration, lenght, date, and many other details about that specific Trip (or Session).
Max performance values in that specific trip are automatically stored in the Performance tab in this app.
Press on Trip Performance in the Trip/Session Details page to shows detailed path and performance data (telemetry) in the Trip/Session detail map. This detailed data is not initially available through the cloud: you need to sync Rideet app with the Rideet One in the first place. One the data is on your smartphone, it will be automatically uploaded to the cloud and available on any other device.
To sync the Trip Performance data between Rideet One and your device, tap on the Sync button in this page and follow the instructions. Rideet One will create a WiFi network to which the smartphone must connect.
After the data is synced, this page shows:
In the Share page, you can export a Dashware project with the data of your riding session.

Safety page (which can be found in Settings > Rideet One > Safety) shows current status of the Accidents Recognition System. When the Accidents Recognition System is enabled, Rideet One will continuously analyze dynamic parameters during your riding and in case of accidents it will send an SMS with an alert and your current position to the emergency numbers you saved in Settings > Rideet One > Safety > Emergency numbers.
When an accident is detected the Rideet Key will start beeping for 1 minute.
In case of false positives, or if everything is ok after the accident, you can cancel the SMS sending by pressing the button on the Rideet Key within 1 minute from the accident detection.
Access the Settings by tapping on the grat icon in the Dashboard tab.
This tab shows the active account details.
In the Rideet TPMS settings you can choose the measuring unit between Bar, psi, kPa and Kg/cm2. Moreover, you can choose your minimum and maximum Thresholds of pressure and temperature for each tyre where a Rideet TPMS is installed.
In case of measures out of the desired range you will receive an alert notification (if the app is open in background and you are near the motorcycle, or if you have a Rideet One synced with your account).
You can also choose the Notification sound between Default or Alarm.
Rideet One is always connected to the cloud thanks to its own GSM network connection. It doesn't need your smartphone connection: in this way, it can alert you when you're not in its proximity. There aren't limitations in place: Rideet One can save unlimited data in the cloud and you can, for example, check your bike position anytime, with no limits.
While no limitations are in place for Rideet One standard use, network connectivity is still subject to the rules of accepted use. Automatic systems will recognize abnormal data usage and block Rideet One connection consequently: this could happen, for example, in case of continuous position streamings due to loss of Key.
When you want to ride without the Rideet Key, disable the Antitheft in Settings > Rideet One > Security.
Remember: if the Rideet Key is not near the bike, Performances or Trips are not saved and Accidents Recognition is inactive.
The embedded GSM system works in most of the countries in the world without any need for configuration.
To check the list of active countries, visit this page.
